FREMONT, Calif.—March 21, 2003—InterVideo, Inc. and Kano Technologies announced that the new K2XTREME DVD+RW drives are bundled with InterVideo’s WinDVD 4, the world’s most popular DVD player, available immediately.

“We chose WinDVD for our new K2XTREME DVD+RW/R internal and external drive packages because it is one of the most popular and well recognized DVD video playback software programs for the PC. The software we have bundled with these products gives users what we believe to be the most easy-to-use and robust software package available for DVD+ users – at the best value,” said Richard Young, CEO of Kano Technologies.”

The K2XTREME DVD+RW/R internal and external drive packages tout “on-the-fly” video recording, enabling easy conversion of personal videos into DVDs -- in the shortest possible recording time. The K2XTREME DVD+VR support allows the user to edit parts of a recorded DVD+RW disk without re-recording the complete disk, while maintaining the renowned DVD+RW playback compatibility.
